The Institute of Logic and Cognition at Zhejiang University and the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence at the University of Cambridge initiated a joint project in the area of Logic in Artificial Intelligence in 2019. Currently led by Professor Beishui Liao from Zhejiang University and Professor Huw Price from the University of Cambridge, the project is dedicated to promoting various forms of academic collaboration between scholars of both institutions, including research, teaching, and related activities.
The project resulted in a successful series of online talks on topics within the area of Logic in Artificial Intelligence in 2021. As of 2022, the scope of the academic activities that form the base of the project has been broadened to include any connected areas falling under the overarching theme of “Mind, Logic, and Artificial Intelligence”. The project is at present focused on the continuation of the online talk series and the development of a new series of short summer courses between July and September.
This joint project is financially supported by the Zhejiang University Global Partnership Fund.
